Will other carriers join?
Many carriers have expressed interest based on recommendations from forwarders and by a desire to reduce costs while improving service.
How do I contact a carrier representative?

No, each participating forwarder can have an unlimited number of registered employees.

How do I disable users of my branch who have left the organization?

Can I use CPS to modify or track bookings booked through phone?
Yes - you can track all your shipments using CPS; registered users can view and modify all their bookings as well.

To make a booking, Click Booking and then on Create/Modify Booking.
How do I modify my existing bookings?
You can modify your existing bookings either through Create/Modify booking screen or through Review Active/Queued Bookings Screen.

How do I setup a specific account number to be selected by default at the time of booking?

Can CPS display track flights?
Yes, any flight that is on the carrier system will be displayed.

What happens if my dimensions cause a change in the weight or volumes previously entered at the time of booking?
If the carrier requires a confirmed booking, a warning message is displayed to re-confirm your booking with the carrier.
Marketplace (Rates & Quotes)
What does the “get a quote” card section does?
Open Get a Quote to request a shipping rate in CPS.
How accurate is the data on CPS?
All information is retrieved directly from the carrier systems at the time of the request so, the data is the most accurate available.
What rates are shown?
Carriers choose whether to show their rates or not.
What is the marketplace function in CPS?
Marketplace in CPS lets you view rates and flights from all your preferred carriers with a single query in one place with a single query.
Are all the rates displayed in marketplace final?
The rates displayed in Marketplace are displayed based on the shipment details provided by the user and are subject to change based on the terms and conditions of the carrier.
Do I need any special privilege/permission to access marketplace?
No.
Why is default account number important?
The default account number is not mandatory but is important since it will help in getting the contract rates that you might have with a carrier.
How do I enter dimensions for multiple rate line commodities?
When dimensions exist and the pieces field in the rate line is being altered, the dimensions box is displayed.
Why do the rate line fields sometimes change color when I select a different Rate Class code?
Commodity codes are available in Section 3 by clicking the look up icon appearing to the right of the commodity code field.
How do I enter a Rate Class M, N, Q or C rate line?
Click Rate Class M, N, Q or C from the drop down list in section 3 then enter the green mandatory fields.

Air Waybills & e-Freight
What does the “create air waybill” card section does?
Open Create Air Waybill to create or retrieve a MAWB in CPS.
How do I create a house air waybill?

What is CPS e-Freight?
CPS e-Freight is a range of services through which CPS users can create, update and retrieve an electronic master air waybill.

Is a confirmed booking required for all flight segments to create a MAWB?

Why does Section 1 display different fields depending on the selected carrier?

How can I add more rating lines?

How do I enter dimensions for the entire consignment?
For carriers requiring a confirmed booking, enter dimensions in Create Booking or View/Modify Booking screen before completing MAWB to reconfirm the weight and space with the carrier.
What happens when I check the No Dimension Available checkbox?
No Dimensions Available text appears in the Goods Description line of MAWB and in MAWB PDF.
How do I enter UN Numbers?
Click the UN numbers icon and enter the applicable UN numbers in the boxes provided, press Update.
Where can I find the list of Commodity Codes?
Commodity codes are available in Section 3 by clicking the look up icon appearing to the right of the commodity code field.
How do I delete an incorrect text or rating line that is no longer required?
At the end of each rating line a ‘RESET’ checkbox appears.
Why does the Declared Value for Carriage and Declared Value for Customs default to NVD and NCV respectively?
NVD (No Value Declared) and NCV (No Commercial Value) are the default values.
Why does Amount of Insurance default to XXX?
XXX is the default value.
Why is Tax a protected field?
The Tax field is calculated by the carrier and is a display only field.
Can I make changes to the MAWB once it has been completed and sent to the carrier?
Changes can be made as long as the weight, volume or ULD type does not change from what was previously captured and confirmed in the booking.
How do I get a hard copy print of the completed air waybill?
Click the "PRINT MAWB" button displayed in the last section of MAWB screen.
Which documents are available in Retrieve e-Docs?
You can retrieve the XML or FWB messages used to create the MAWB and Cargo Receipt in a PDF format.
Which types of messages can I see on Message History?
This is a future enhancement.
How can I receive an RCS message if I do not receive automatic status update messages from the carrier?
You can select ‘Notification Options’ from Section 3 of Create Booking at the time of booking.
Is a carrier bilateral agreement a pre-requisite for creating a MAWB?
